KASEMAKE book measurer
The KASEMAKE digital book measurer is a tablet measuring device, linked to easy to use software that permits the error free capture of the critical measurements of a book. The user enters information such as archival number, description and style into the software interface; this associates the captured dimensions with the entered data, all of which is stored in a Microsoft database.
Using the book measurer should ensure that the right size box is always made for any particular book, with virtually no measuring or input errors.
The measurement data captured by the system is passed to the main KASEMAKE CXD system as a database file; this allows the use of the Book Measure to be mobile and independent of the main system.
Boxes can then be made individually, created from the data captured earlier, or utilise features within KASEMAKE that help make 'best use' from a sheet of board and make multiple boxes. This layout function helps reduce board wastage.
The data can also be filtered into a report to subsequently analyse information such as who is doing what and for whom.
The book measurer is available in 3 sizes: A2, A1 and A0.
